Empower to focus on district cooling at green summit

DUBAI, August 6, 2017

Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower), the world’s largest district cooling services provider, will participate at the fourth edition of World Green Economy Summit (WGES 2017), in Dubai, UAE, in October.

The summit is organised under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and will be held on October 24 and 25 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

“We’re very excited to participate at the upcoming WGES. At Empower, we’re trying to raise the bar on building district cooling efficiency and our participation at WGES will not only help us to spur new ideas, but also shape the industry by presenting information on the benefits of district cooling technology,” said  Ahmad Bin Shafar, CEO of Empower.

Empower’s participation in the proceedings of the summit will focus on the advantages of district cooling solutions. It will also highlight its innovative solutions and unique business models which will offer attendees a one-of-its-kind educational experience on district cooling technology, the company said.
