Saudi King Salman has declared that Eid Al Fitr vacation in the country will start on the 20th of Ramadan (10 days before the Eid festival), reported Saudi Press Agency.

Civil and military government sector personnel, were previously scheduled to work till the end of the working day on Monday 24/9/1438 H, stated the report.

However, upon the directives of King Salman, the vacation will start earlier with the end of the working day being Thursday (June 15) corresponding to the 20/9/1438 H. as per Ummal Qura calendar, the report said.

Accordingly, all civil and military government officials will enjoy next Sunday and Monday as days off, it added.
