Bahraini athlete Rose Chelimo has clinched the gold medal in the women’s marathon at the World Athletics Championship, being held in London. Kenyan-born Chelimo won the race clocking 2 hours, 27 minutes and 11 seconds. Kenyan Edna Kiplagat and American athlete Amy Cragg finished second and third, clocking 2:27:18 and 2:27:18, respectively. - Image courtesy: BNA
