Samsung Electronics recently announced the latest addition to their award winning line of washing machines and dryers.

Samsung’s Bubble Scout washing machines provide users with the perfect combination of energy efficiency, convenience and design. The new SDC18809 condenser dryer is equipped with a diamond shaped drum offering fabric care and longer life for clothes.

“Boasting an A+++ energy rating, Samsung’s Bubble Scout with Eco Bubble technology is the world’s only washing machine that releases bubbles and foam inside the drum to cushion and protect clothes for a damage-free effective clean. The low temperature cycle is gentle on clothes and the environment, providing 70 per cent lower energy consumption,” said Robin Kadyan, general manager of home appliances at Samsung Gulf Electronics.

The washing machine uses bubbles to completely and efficiently dissolve washing detergent, helping it penetrate clothes 40 times faster than traditional detergent water. The perfectly dissolved detergent penetrates into the fabric quickly, evenly and deeply; completely removing any left-over detergent residue. The Bubble Scout washing machine ensures clothes look brand new after every wash and is especially effective in washing delicate items.

To complement customers’ washing experience, Samsung has also designed the condenser dryer SDC18809 with an extra-large capacity, drying up to 8kgs in one load; saving time, energy and water. One of the benefits of having a separate dryer is the ability to use its full capacity for better efficiency, rather than needing to decrease the load.

Furthermore, the diamond shaped drum creates pockets to dry laundry with immense care and raises the laundry higher than conventional drums to keep it in the warm air for a longer period of time resulting in less mechanical strain on clothes.
