BTEA’s participation in this exhibition comes in line with the its long term strategy to further develop the kingdom’s tourism sector and strengthen its position on a regional and international level under the slogan of ‘Ours.Yours.’, which contributes towards the kingdom’s economy and the 2030 Economic Vision.

“During the international event, our efforts will focus on promoting Bahrain as an ideal tourist destination in the region with an aim of attracting new and international markets. We will also focus on highlighting the key international events and attractions available in Bahrain,” said Al Zayani.

Further commenting on the event, the CEO of BTEA Shaikh Khaled bin Humood Al Khalifa stated: “Our participation in the WTM 2017 is intended to showcase Bahrain's tourism potential and enhance its position as a leading family tourism destination in the region. We are pleased to announce the launch of the pearl diving trips and activities where visitors can enjoy a diving experience in the Arabian Gulf with professional trainers to search for oysters which is spread over 400 square meters of sea floor and those who are lucky enough to find any pearls get to keep it for themselves.”
